Moderator

PartyPPL is the complete nightlife agenda for the Netherlands and Belgium, from techno to hardcore and from club to festival, with friends, a group chat for every night and a forum of its own. Every new night is checked by our agenda team first, and every report from a visitor deserves a quick and fair answer.

As a moderator you are the first to see what comes in:

• You review new nights, artists and corrections in the moderation queue, within a day.
• You handle reports in group chats and on the forum, and step in on harassment, scams and resale above face value.
• You help visitors and organisers through support, short and friendly.
• You notice what could be better in the rules or the tools, and say so.

You work with our own admin portal and a clear set of house rules. You never do it alone: there is always someone on the team to talk to.

• You know nightlife and how things go on a night out and in a group chat.
• You are 18 or older.
• You write clear Dutch, and you read and write English well.
• You stay calm and fair, also when someone else does not.
• You can set aside a few blocks of time a week, Friday and Saturday nights included.

Experience moderating a community, forum or Discord is a plus.

Salary: to be agreed, in line with your experience and hours.

• Remote work, at times you largely choose yourself.
